there was more experimentation from DAOs w/ frames last year than w/ mini apps this year (e.g.: @botto, @vocdoni, @nouns prop house, @orangedao app). is this due to DAOs falling off a bit? or due to a frustrating frames experience that discouraged them from mini apps? something else? would love opinions (+ intros!)

We’re working slowly but /blackflag will eventually have a mini app. But agree with @phil that in the last year we saw a ton of DAOs unwinding/abandoned.

Should also mention that @nekofar.eth and I did an execution for builderDAO where we used DMs instead of frames. It was right during the transition from frames->miniapps so we didn’t want to get deprecated.

Been cranking on mini-apps for gov and tooling of Nouns and Lil Nouns, dropped one a few months back for Lil Nouns auction, dashboard shows new users but on-chain action is kinda meh. Now on a governance mini-app, and if it flops too I’m not sure this grind is worth it 😂 Toolings on L2s might get more traction than L1 DAOs like Nouns and Lil Nouns. https://lilnouns.auction
