Right now there are ads on YouTube of the freaking prime minister of Canada, Elon musk, and more, hawking scam bullshit.

My mom calls my daily asking about this shit, it is messed up that YouTube allows this much less the feds.

They definitely know these ads exist.  They don’t care.

I have somewhat more empathy for the digital platforms as their scale makes content moderation much harder
