Right now there are ads on YouTube of the freaking prime minister of Canada, Elon musk, and more, hawking scam bullshit. My mom calls my daily asking about this shit, it is messed up that YouTube allows this much less the feds.

I have somewhat more empathy for the digital platforms as their scale makes content moderation much harder These OOH spots go through a human content review or can, there’s just not that much inventory

The same ads have been going for months at a time. I report them every time I see them. They definitely know these ads exist. They don’t care.
