@pfista do you have any workaround for the 40 tool limit in Cursor? I know there's a lot of talk about it in their forums, but as of yet, no solutions.

Not yet. We've given feedback we'd love if there was new UX for tool selection, similar to how you can mention files `@page.tsx`, it'd be great to mention a tool specifically via auto complete like /linear.get_issue 

I do think it's an issue for Clients like Cursor to solve, but if they don't we'll add support for enabling and disabling single tools via the Skeet dashboard

Fair point. It'd be great if clients would let you choose on the fly though. Or at least per project.

It’s there for a reason, the LLM will do much worse with too many tools.

I think people are overdoing it with MCP, you should reduce to 10 maybe 15 core tools you’ll get better results.

Have you tried reaching out to their support team? They might have some suggestions.
