I said something like this the other day but I just have to say it again The phone is a remarkably unproductive device relative to a laptop let alone a widescreen desktop monitor I eased up my no phone rules and every time I find myself doing something productive on it I feel like an idiot w two thumbs & tiny screen

I believe I’m starting to intuitively form a counter thesis here. We do different daily tasks though so I’m hoping we can merge them down the road for a more comprehensive theory

Phone is great for convenience and mobility but not productivity from my perspective. Most of the benefits of convenience and mobility I find useful on phone I was able to replace with Apple Watch and headphones combo without significant trade-off. Watch is critical. No desire for a no-tech or largely unreachable norm

Yea see we gotta merge them later. Please save docs. For example, I don’t wear watch. Have also switched back to pro max and immediately became more productive.

I should probably get pro max. Still on 13. I am sure we could have an extremely reasonable conversation about this at a later date and identify vast majority of points on which we agree, boiling down any actually disagreements to their fundamental roots and agreeing to disagree on non-factual pieces of the puzzle
