also, another reason is that, for all the above reasons, being a btc maxi is clearly some kind of brain disease, we've definitely got our issues on the eth side but btc maxis are, without exception, unhinged and deranged

huge energy waste, doesn't scale, refusal to improve anything about the protocol in 20y, lightning doesn't even work

also, this is a fringe conspiracy, but i suspect core devs were likely infiltrated by state actors over a decade ago with the intent of slowing or derailing the whole project
