Mixed take on this. I don't think it says about their seriousness, Farcaster doesn't have enough distribution. Yet. Unless you're in trenches and experimenting - yes, see @jc4p, or building something completely new experience that farcaster makes it really better, e.g. @bankr @clanker @noiceapp, and you can monetize on. E.g. I have friends with e-commerce experience, and at some point I believe it will be a banger on Farcaster, but what they say it's strategic for them not to disperse their focus yet on things which don't have medium term ROI.

I should've made it clearer, was thinking of crypto-related projects here, but definitely agree on your point. I don't think people should dive on Farcaster head on, but having a plan/strategy should be something they should be thinking about. Not quite there yet for non-crypto native companies, but for crypto, this is one of the best places to get distribution and build.

We should focus on getting distribution here, which then ensures the strategy / app developers make it out well, with a good flywheel. We can btw take the getting distribution into our own hands beyond crypto people fwiw.

I think that's the main goal -- to have farcaster be more than just farcaster content, we're seeing a few non crypto content but it will probably be a long long long game, not impossible, but very hard Also think that one of FC's edge is ease of use without the need to know crypto that makes me think they should continue working on that in the short term, bring people from different blockchains (good job on bringing solana, hyperliquid) think there will be more here

If you notice a lot of my casts are not farcaster or crypto related. I am trying to bring a: - ai crowd - build in public crowd - developer crowd (be it oss, or not) Over here. I also have interest in news/current affairs but admit I don’t post about it much. And my aim is to always be FC first.
