What consumer AI primarily looks like soon:

- Cursor for your browser: logged into everything, accelerates your productivity.
- AI headphones: can answer any query and complete tasks on that browser on-the-go.

Deeper conversations will still be text output, but on the go stuff will be voice input voice output.

The charging case will be something you bring with you throughout the day. You’ll swap between ear pieces to manage battery life. If non-Apple non-Google, the case will have a data plan, cellphone antenna, edge compute, local model, and memory.

So Airpods would work great for an Apple version of this, but the ChatGPT version may not. Also these AI companions will want to own their hardware stack.

Yeah I can imagine vertical integration > adaptation in this case.
