If you've been thinking about starting or establishing a regular mindfulness practice, I find it super helpful to have an intention for practicing. When I am teaching One-to-One, and even in Spiritual Friendship sessions where we're not actively pursuing the establishment of a meditation practice at all, setting an intention can be super powerful, acting as a way to orient around confusion and decision making. Even if we don't end up talking about your goals or intentions in specific, just knowing that there's an intended direction of travel sets up an atmosphere that supports their unfolding. As always, if you're looking for a crypto-native mindfulness teacher with a casual approach rooted in two-thousand-year-old-plus traditions, I'm your guy.
