don't always care for the web2 companies announcing crypto things, but the robinhood x crypto is kinda exciting because they still feel young and relevant

+1, idk how you can *not* be excited about Robinhood's crypto plans.

majority of my friends have a Robinhood account for investing. majority of my friends want access to private investments. Robinhood's crypto plans can make it happen.

and only avail in the EU is bearish on the US, not Robinhood?

I think the fear is that if they spin up their own chain they can turn off the buy and sell button in retrospect and roll back the chain.
