What’s the privacy expectation for verified phone numbers? Was kinda surprised to be staring back at mine in the verifications tab after verifying a week or so again. Where exactly did that get stored & why? Didn’t see how to remove that now & feeling a bit tricked. Maybe I heard what I wanted to hear.

I definitely read that it wasn’t stored but maybe it is locally? @artlu was pondering this as well.

They were my inspiration for checking & asking. I kinda yolo fomo’d as I don’t have an x account that can be verified. Felt corned & wanted optionality for airdrops & perks & the like. In the end made the share it decision on my own knowing it will be found in the wild one day.
