it's nextjs - i'm sure a lot of the cause is a skills issue

What are you building that's so slow? React native app?

spend the hour or two or three necessary to decrease your build time, i promise it’s worth it and there’s a ton of low hanging fruit (eg switching from node to bun or whatever your case is)

The context switching crushes me. I like this idea though & will try a modified version of that. 🙌

Sometimes I'd plan to reduce build time and incorporate small win fixes on every new ticket/feature and encourage others in my team to do so.
