Might be controversial to store your seed with iCloud backup. But let's be honest, who writes it down on paper these days? @rainbow and other wallets allow you to do this. However, if you think about it, it's great UX. This is the way forward to onboard the next billion people onchain.

GM, I’ve been away for 9 days. Not by choice… we’ve been involved in a gas explosion in the building we live in. I’m grateful for my family and kids being safe and sound. No phone, no shoes, no documents/ID, no cash, no laptop. Here is what happened: The building we live in had a gas explosion on the ground floor. The sound of it caused severe damages to the first and some of the second floor. Luckily, we were on the third floor. My wife went down to check the post, when 2 minutes later, a loud explosion happened along with an earthquake. My wife picked up the kids and was terrified and wanted to leave the building. Moments later, we heard people shouting that we needed to get out of the building, there’s no time left! I grabbed my daughter and my wife had our other baby. With no shoes, no phone, no documents, no laptop, we ran off towards the stairs. As we were going down, we saw the second and first floor doors demolished, crystals on the floor, rubble all over the place, the floor was falling from the ceiling on the ground floor… People around the building were helping us get out and our little one got hit on her head. Luckily, she was fine, but we were all so shocked when this was happening. We went to the hospital to get the checks we all need and it all took the whole day to get everyone checked. Imagine having no access to money, clothes, communication… People have lost their homes and some have got serious injuries. Receiving support and information about what is going on has been very difficult. We relied on communicating with our neighbours from the building to get support, but it’s all moving so slow and with a lack of transparency on the town hall’s end and government. The people affected that didn’t have a place to stay at, stayed in hotels for a few days and had to fight for an extension of their stay, as we haven’t been given a guaranteed place to stay while the building is being fixed. Today, they allowed us to go in the building, to pick up essentials. This experience has made us think about lots of things. Life things and general communication, funds, support that should be distributed directly in case of emergency. Losing your house and belongings and having so many delays and lack of transparency are not a way to support and help citizens. And of course, there’s political discussions about it. Grateful that we are safe and sound. Just wish there was more speed and transparency on what’s going on.
