hmm im surprised by this. genuinely interested in your take on why?

the social media that gets crypto integration right first > decentralized social media (no social media user cares if their content is decentralized)

what makes Warpcast special isn't the "sufficiently decentralized" backend, it's the fact they make it seamless to connect wallets, do transactions in-feed, etc.

all the more reason to accelerate making this the best place to hang out in crypto by matching Twitter's conversational visibility (better feed)

I get that in theory, but in practice doesn't really seem to be happening 

if you're going to start a new social media app that brings in net new valuable content to the Farcaster network, why are you jumping through the hoops to host that content on Farcaster vs running a centralized network that doesn't have to deal with the clunkiness of decentralization?

directionally don't disagree
but the point of many clients isn't just decentralizetion and client diversity 

the hope is that the various clients would bring different content and form different graphs.

Love is Undefeated. Working on integration of all Vectors through love-driven governance and perpetual evolution through recursive improvement.

You're not wrong, I see it as a why not both, work on increasing decentralization and crypto integration as a goal.

that's fine and will appeal to certain hardcore people but 

a) we aren't going to get mass adoption of Farcaster with that angle because most people aren't prepping for mass warfare

b) in the scenario where we have that, other more decentralized networks probably fare better than a "sufficiently" decentralized one

Given the information upheavals/rivalries/warfare etc decentralization certainly is at least as important as getting crypto integration for the sake of resiliency if nothing else.
