Used to think everyone deserved a chance to be heard. But some people are resolved to be negative / victims and it’s not worth joining them in the drama triangle as the persecutor OR rescuer

Some people just can’t help themselves. Unfortunately you just have to make the decision then to shut out the noise or become their therapist. 

Usually the “I can fix them” approach doesn’t work because they don’t want to change. 

Respect for you trying to take the long road though.
