i wish there was more incentive to create collectively owned orgs/co-ops, right now it's *more* expensive to operate one than a plain c-corp/llc.

perhaps the "apple tax" could be exempt from collectively owned orgs, similar to how some securities laws are exempt from "sufficiently decentralized blockchains" (but not from centralized ones).

this is the exact problem with socialism/communism: it promises to redistribute wealth, but this disincentive individuals from excelling in any area and eventually become dependant of the State - and because "Free" doesn't actually exist, at the end socialist measures end up into the money printing a.k.a. capitalist hell. 

both are the same shit - one feeds each other.1
