The two companies I know working on them (Figure and Elon) — both of their offerings seem to be all style, no substance. To your point there’s so much complexity! To go humanoid to me is not a solutions oriented approach — it’s a way to look cool and sci fi for the mouth frothers on social media

I legitimately think it's a mistake to invest so much in humanoid robots considering the complexity of the human body (ankles, wrists, weight distribution, etc)... but I can definitely get on board with adapting the environment to accommodate these little wheeled cutie boop boop beeps.
