Had a long convo with a restaurateur. 10+ operations under his belt, one grew to be an 8 fig biz over 25 years. 

COVID bankrupted him. His right hand man sued him, colleague took his life, lost his house; hell and back.

His closing thought was questioning where the will to continue comes from. Said he is convinced entrepreneurs are born, not made. You continue because you know nothing else.

Underrated how we just allow ppl to go bankrupt and are so debtor friendly. Other countries aren’t so chill

No need to apologize. US is friendly indeed. Others simply don’t have the luxury of well thought out, somewhat uncorrupted  rule of law.

US we will discharge a lot and let you rebuild with very little penalty
