does anyone else just like…not feel good about their real name lol

i know most of you don’t know the name my parents gave me. it’s a nice name in theory but it’s too long and usually pronounced in a weird way that makes me recoil. and most of the shorted versions people use i also dislike. i would almost compare this to some kind of dysmorphia if i may be so bold. 

i just like my pseudonym more even if it’s weird 😐 at least i picked it myself and it’s pronounceable

Some people shorten my real name and then inadvertently call me by the name of my mother in law. We’re talking but not bffs. Just feels weird

I’ve seen also a lot of different spellings of my name.
