Every One Still Here, short stories by Liadan Ní Chuinn (not real name. Real author not known). Set in Northern Ireland and talking about the aftershock of The Troubles (civil war in NI that ended with the Good Friday agreement in 1993). Song Bloody Sunday is about an event that happened during that time. Recommend if interested how violence shapes identity/community Night Swimmers by Róisín Maguire. Also set in NI, but a story about how your past influences how you interact with others. set during covid. Recommend. Nice human story, warms your heart but not shallow. The Memories of a Geisha. Well known novel.
