wholesome wfh lunch for stressful days: salmon + rice cooked entirely in a rice cooker, added some dashi and mirin in the pot to season. topped with curry sesame seeds & spicy mayo. accompanied with kimchi, avocado & crispy seaweed sheets π₯°

High-key impressed at people who can make perfectly fluffy rice on the stove! But so shook when I went to uni and housemates not only cooked rice on the stove, but took a sieve and DRAINED out the excess water π±π±

when i was at uni i was making dinner w friends and i asked someone to make the rice bc i suck at making rice on the stove. they turned to me and said βyou donβt know how to cook rice? arenβt you asian?β and all the asians in the group were shocked LOL we were like UMMM we have rice cookers weβre not SAVAGES LOL
