And here’s day 2 😌 Hotter, more climbing, yet somehow I averaged a faster pace. Biggest surprise was that day 2 wasn’t as bad physically as I thought it would be. I was tired and sore, but after warming up, it felt more or less like day 1 Would def recommend the ride. Gorgeous views

Where do you stay overnight? Are you bringing camping equipment with you, or are you biking between destinations with restaurants and hotels?

We stayed at a dorm in Centralia, Washington. There was no hot water, and two terrible beds for 6 dudes. I slept on a sleeping pad on the floor. This was LUXURY compared to the people who camped out outside The STP ride is an organized group ride. There's trucks that bring your stuff from the start line to the halfway point and then to the end, so I didn't have to carry my sleeping gear with me and there were stops every 20 miles or so where you could get food/water/gatorade I think my friends and I are gonna do it again next year, but next time we're gonna try to book a nicer place to stay. No hot water was kinda brutal
