The best way to surface quality conversations is obviously by choice, i.e. subscription/follow. The account on FC posts summaries sorted in order of quality, where quality is: 1. Uniqueness (spam always similar), 2. Nuance (complexity = quality), 3. Reflectiveness (self critical = relevant, important).🧠❤️‍🔥

A way to catch up without having to consume everything. While the incentive for owners of the platform might be to increase DAU, that comes at a likely detriment to users in that social media, in whatever form, is a dopamine machine. How can Atlas help incentivize a healthier relationship with FC?

Length and quality of replies is a big factor. Maybe some combo of number of characters, and reply to replies. Also, eliminate common words phrases, that way depth of convo can be highlighted

Great idea! Hmm, perhaps a way to detect if there has been a true thread of back and forth conversations in a single chronological conversation? I.e., if reply, cast, reply, cast, reply cast Usually the spam types only have one or two back and forths could also detect quote casts with more than a few sentences

Building “profiles” of certain users known to start/participate in quality threads could be helpful. Maybe a double edged sword though - makes it easier to have info bubbles and repetitive opinions/topics. Looking at links shared in the threads. Medium, Paragraphs, Mirror relatively likely to be part of good convo
