how did you feel 7 months in of the second pregnancy? can you describe it? i want to develop empathy for my partner that has been the whole week very grumpy and my unconscious egoic victim mentality can't help but feel its all my fault. so we argue. and im tired of it

our society isn’t built to support the feminine portals of life.

it’s built to extract — to keep us out of sync with natural rhythms.

that’s why i described it as so many layers of pressure — because there are no true pauses for seasons, for co-regulation, for ceremony, for integration.

the mother holds the entirety of creation in her body.

and yet, her consciousness is ensnared in productivity — fractured across what demands her time, instead of what restores her being.

what is the source of that "obligation to continue performing"?

imagine the entire year’s fluctuations in temperature, humidity, storms, earthquakes, floods, annoyances… all being contained within your body. 

not knowing what the next moment will present itself as. 

feeling like you are at the mercy of anything and everything that is outside of your “control” 

there is no off switch, and you are obligated to continue performing as if there isn’t an entire ecosystem being built within you.

The answer is just yes dear, for the next five years at least. It's a true, time-honoured method for happiness.
