you never know which is going to be the trigger for catarsis. this situation made me very sad. it is not something i rationalize. i just feel it. and in feeling it completely there is insight. and that insight relates to my family, to the things i value in life. to my core. proxy is just a vehicle. a meme at this point

yes being yourself is important.  I was just reading this quote in a zen book, “when you are you, zen is zen.”  It was part of a section about how meditating to clear your mind is important (rather than trying to seek something outside of yourself).
