What if the bullishness around AI by the VC community is as misplaced as it was around crypto? 🤔

In what way would you say it was misplaced in crypto?

Things like counterparty yield platforms (bankrupt now), Metaverse platforms (moved to AI), and DAO's (realized they are just corporations).

The narratives of last bubble were told and funded mainly by people who could not succinctly tell you want the value prop of crypto was (over just using a database for their project).

All of those people lost their money and my hope is that the current guard is better at explaining the value for the next hype cycle.

I do agree about the hype cycle with DAOs but more certain than ever that 1 year from now (with clear crypto-friendly jurisdictions) the underlying tech will be disruptive. 

Like they say, crypto moves at warp speed. 1 year is ~7 years in other ecosystems.

Oh i'm super bullish on crypto right now. It's more exiting than it's ever been and I've been around since 2013. I just think AI is going to experience the same type of hype cycle we just had.

The underlying technology is still there and is becoming better by the day. It's working its way through the natural hype cycle.
