Heads up everyone! I got targeted by a phishing scam.

This random group reached out via email and wanted me to be their lead dev. I asked for a ridiculous rate to get them to go away ($25k/wk). 

They said rate was okay, then sent me materials to look at (which I never did).

Yesterday I told them no thanks.

I love that

Never say no- Just ask yourself what would you need to be paid to do the work

Happens a lot. They tried with me like 1 month ago (here on fc via dm). Keep an eye on /police / post your experience there

They will always agree to ridiculous rate, ask for a downpayment instead 🫨
