For the record - this post was spurred by an argument about whether I was "supporting Trump" by using Google Calendar. 

The fact that folks read this and immediately jumped to "Joan supports genocide" is...not fantastic. 

Could I have added more context? 

Sure. 

Is it appropriate to expect that every tweet I write be accompanied by an index of condemnations and qualifications to avoid being called a child murderer? 

No.

I meant scale badly as a productive means of accomplishing actual political goals. But yes I suppose for many folks - to whom practical coalition building is not an actual goal - they scale quite adequately

Do they actually scale poorly? I feel like a ton of people are publicly suppressing voicing their opinions again because they can be labeled and ostracised again. It‘s the all seeing eye that‘s monitoring to find if you‘ve said something bad. Consensus making through threats and censoring

I can't believe you're complaining about purity tests while there's a genocide happening 🙃
