One of the really sad things about getting older and watching current events is that you come to realize that things won’t improve in your lifetime. All of the dreams of a better, fairer world you’ve had for years don’t have enough time to come to pass before your time is up. This has me melancholy today.

This is Jasper. He's a rescue I'm taking care of in Vietnam. He was abandoned by an expat family when they left the country... left on the street to fend for himself. He's a very sweet boy. Very chill and affectionate considering all he's been through.
