The produce at normal (fka middle class) grocery stores goes bad much faster now Bought a box of organic strawberries yesterday, and a few were already covered with mold this morning Rarely happens with produce from upper class stores (eg. Whole Foods). Yet another way the growing class disparity is felt (but hidden)

It's not a conspiracy theory. I've been noticing the same thing. I try to get more produce from the farmers' markets due to this drop in quality. Have you seen the tricks stores use to make it look like food is fresh? Terrifying...
