another year trying to celebrate my birthday, only to realize it's too soon and i don't have the energy to make things happen now.

also — is it just me, or does planning your own birthday feel like the most narcissistic thing ever?

yeah, but it felt like this was a good opportunity to do something different — i spend time with friends and family every weekend, literally.
i can't think of anything special that can happen to differentiate from any other normal day, lol.
