We need more than first past the post,  in lieu of that being a single issue voter could help to form the candidate that we want but for now leadership is literally just saying “hey you’ll take this shit sandwich and enjoy it”

Im a single issue voter, and that issue is a lack of diverse political parties.

Vote 3rd party, regardless of what the candidate believes.

I can’t possibly vote for Democrats this cycle with how they’ve been treating technology in general, and it’s broader than just Biden.

There is no path to get there. The GOP will block it for the same reasons they will never allow Puerto Rico to become a state: they'd never win another election. Maybe in 20 years we could get this done but in the meantime if it's the Joker vs Two-Face you vote Two-Face. And in reality our choice isn't even that bad.

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. Ranked choice voting solves our problems with a system that forces choosing between two subpar candidates.

The DNC will never allow that. Power is their only god.

Completely agree but also nervous the party might pick Elizabeth Warren.

RFK is currently the best option. He might not stand a chance, but at this point “throwing my vote away” seems like a better choice than voting for the status quo.

It's one more term. Americans love to complain about this situation but it seems lost on them that we did this to ourselves lol. We will get through this and then we have a whole new electoral process with fresh exciting new candidates (that we will again be complaining about in 2028).

I’d be happy to celebrate his long and storied career at his retirement.  Biden came into Senate when Nixon was in office for crying out loud.  It’s obscene to think that octogenarians should lead us into this technological revolution when they were born five or six generations ago.

Democrats need to stop with this. He's the candidate and that's that. We can run someone younger next time. And regardless, Biden has a damn good team behind him. They're extremely competent and he's a good delegator. He's also gotten meaningful legislation passed. He should be celebrated.
