Did you know that underwater robots map methane bubbling up from the seafloor? I’ve been fascinated with remotely operated underwater vehicles, or ROVs, and their roles in exploration, bathymetry (seafloor mapping), species identification, and eDNA collection. Actually I’m building one myself!! More info later!

Yes!! Actually, I feel like carbon dioxide is heavily emphasized when talking about greenhouse gases, but it’s methane, a component of natural gas, that is really scary! There are upstream emissions… so many leaks in the transportation process and at facilities… need to fix them!!
