tried claude code today and its miles better than cursor agent 

going to prob cancel my cursor sub (or minimize it)

am I the only one who thinks this?

it’s amazing!! are you utilizing plan mode? my only thing is i wish it supported concurrent agents (you can do two sessions but if they touch the same file it gets wonky)

yeah it was doing this today!!! its so sick, cursor never does this for me. this is what i was really impressed by. seems like it goes deeper than cursor also in this sense. will start doing the above also (shift-tab) and see what changes

oh i’m talking about claude code!! i haven’t used cursor in weeks, in claude code if you hit shift-tab twice you can force it to generate a step by step todo list before doing anything, then you can just leave it alone for like 5-10 min while it works

i haven't found a scenario to use concurrent agents tbh (i imagine very good for bootstrapping), i think cursor is probably good enough for this for now (could be wrong though)

my favorite use case which is stupid simple but so nice is you have a big feature in progress with changed dependencies or what not and need to make a quick fix off main

don't need to gstash/gwip, gco main, gco branch, pnpm i, fix commit, return

just use the other dir lol

sooooo smart then i can have backend and frontend work at same time and use git to communicate !!

i just work on multiple projects at the same time and run claude code entirely locally, by default it wont read your .env and stuff unless you ask it to

how do you containerize claude code on local so you can still dev with local tools (vs vpn which would make xcode for ex difficult) without leaking local env vars to untrusted llm

yes unless you’re coding all day or for long continuous sessions (long being >1 hour)

which plan are you using? is the basic (20/mo) good enough?

have you tried https://github.com/sst/opencode i’ve not gone too deep on it but you can run multiple sessions, not sure if it’s true concurrency
