Yet I realized I was looking at the wrong tab. So what makes this different than others? It looks like all the same accounts that dominate every other metric board?

Accounts at the very top of any influence ranking leaderboard are going to be the same, because influence on Farcaster is very skewed. However, we think our algo does a good job at identifying accounts without a lot of followers / high influence, and distinguishing between the relative influence of those accounts. You can see this most clearly when you get above rank #250 or so. Which tab are you looking at - all or Up and Coming? I don't see a lot of overlap between Up and Coming and Rewards and other metrics boards/leaderboards.
