There's a strange dilemma facing builders today. On one hand if AI is progressing as fast as it seems, then almost everything you create becomes obsolete within the next year. On the other hand, if AI advances more slowly than expected, then building something now is still a valuable investment of time I'm at ~80% that we are in a fast takeoff scenario. Just don't know how steep the slope is So it probably means if you're going to build anything it should be a REALLY hard problem, because as AI gets better the problems become easier

Assume everyone has access to AI: shouldn’t it mean that there’s still an advantage to being early? If you can move at light speed but so can everyone else then it will be hard to catch up assuming continuous development. Reminds me of that famous cycling quote “it never gets easier only faster”.

Maybe? Can you even extract value at the limit? Is the time arb wide enough in that future? Im not confident about anything anymore I want to believe you’re right though and I hope you are otherwise i’m wasting a lot of time lol
