You’ll get an embedded wallet and tipping from your own funds — no more tip allowances or farming mechanics. This isn’t a faucet. It’s a product for real discussion. Think: less is more. A solid, simple foundation we can build from. The UI is clean, onboarding is smooth, and the feed feels great for real conversations. No gimmicks, no farming — just a focused space for Degens. Anon mode won’t be available. To use the app, you’ll need to link a phone number. This helps us keep spam out and makes sure everyone is real. One phone number = one account.

Just curious though, how did you pay for Farcaster? Didn’t it ask for a credit card and phone number? Feels like that gives away more than just a name.

honestly, i don't remember anymore. credit card yes, phone number not so sure. even if i did, it doesn't mean i'm happy to do that again (didn't even verify my phone number on fc yet)

interesting—i guess i just don’t get the privacy worry. like, we’re not gonna call you or sell your number. what’s the fear exactly? not judging, just curious. feels low stakes compared to all the other info ppl share online.

i don't think you are gonna call or sell it, but i know leaks happen... and if it isn't strictly necessary (which i think it isn't), then why chance it?
