Unfortunately, I don't think web3 will ever go mainstream. You're right, it's way too complicated. The only chance I see is if it’s fully integrated with services like warpcast wallet. So I believe what farcaster is aiming for is on point. 😎

Your points are spot on! I think right now crypto is mostly focused on security and social prestige, but to really go mainstream, its capital needs to flow into tangible sectors like energy, food, or infrastructure. Unlike oil or electricity, crypto breaks geographical barriers, which is huge, but we need a trusted intermediary to connect investors with projects. Maybe DAOs or smart contracts could fill that gap. Or imagine apps that make it super easy for regular people to invest in green energy or smart agriculture without getting bogged down by jargon.
