We've heard the community and recognize the current tip allowances aren't ideal. We're developing a new incentive mechanism to reward long-term members and reduce farming. We'll iterate quickly to improve the next season, making token farming increasingly difficult. @cadillion and I are cooking.

We want our users to lock or stake their tokens for a year or more to show commitment. Otherwise, they're here temporarily, and we want to reward those who demonstrate lasting commitment.

A year is too long to require people to not have access to their investments. Crypto moves too fast and things come up in people's lives that they need liquidity of funds. Many of us have already been victim to situations where we had to lock funds in staking and the coin crashed and it was a huge loss. It is a lot to ask to trust for that long that it won't happen again. Why not just make it so that rewards are based on what you are holding? That would encourage people to hold more without taking away their ability to get their money if they need it. They'd just lose their future rewards for holding if they decided it was in their best interest to trade.

Questions and thoughts. Will amount staked reflect in amount allocated? Have you considered a deflationary method instead/in addition to staking? Thoughts. Staking doesn't stop temporary users, especially if amount staked increases allo, it only changes the type of temp users. I'd suggest it will bring more farmers. If I can throw money at something to get more money, why wouldn't I? If I were a farmer, I'd stake and extract as long as it is financially viable.
