Not loving my follower count dropping from 78k to 53k despite top-tier engagement, running one of Farcaster’s biggest channels, posting constant “qaulity,” and launching the largest token on Base/Farcaster. What gives?

To clarify: it’s not that people unfollowed me, but my followers apparently don’t count anymore, and my posts aren’t reaching the audience they used to. Am I being shadow-banned here?

Didn’t they just remove spam followers? Folks that were actually not real? Mine cut a bunch, everyone’s cut a bunch.

I wasn’t really part of that early Farcaster follower boost program, so my numbers feel a bit deflated now. Turns out onboarding thousands of users and launching one of the biggest tokens on Base doesn’t really move the needle around here. Wild.

you are not getting shadowbanned, but you’re probably one of the accounts that had the most inflated numbers (like @zachxbt)

Accounts labeled "spammy" were removed from follower counts as a step toward cleaning up the bot problem. You have a top tier account, so it was probably a big target for bots!

I think we had a purge event two days ago ,so bots and ghost accounts get slashed🥷🏻.
