I think the best startups start by owning a small, overlooked niche, something unique with no real competition. Big markets attract noise and copycats. Starting narrow gives you focus, loyalty, and room to explore. Facebook began with Harvard, not the world. I want to avoid competing with Coinbase or Farcaster on the client side. Once our base app is out, the goal is to serve tight-knit, interesting communities, not chase broad sectors that sound good but rarely turn into real businesses.

I kinda agree with this. Start with a narrow focus and gradually broaden. This even saves one from unhealthy experimentations.👍
