i’m on a New York Port Authority boat tour right now they just said there are 18 THOUSAND trucks per day that come through and pick up cargo 48M people are serviced via the port authority they’re gonna dredge another 5’ of channel that’ll start in 2028 to support the biggest ships 🤯🤯🤯

yes this is the second annual and it happens once a year my wife and i are OHNY members they do all sorts of weird wild tours around the city - places you can’t usually go

Sounds like I’m going to have to get a OHNY membership. This sounds so cool. I used to commute into/out of PA everyday for years and, despite it being a cluster, was always amazed at the sheer activity and relative efficiency. Enjoy the tour!
