hic et nunc was the golden era of digital art — a pure, organic and magical place where artists simply enjoyed minting and collectors enjoyed collecting. ever since its shut down, we've all been chasing that feeling — trying to recreate a moment like that, something real and sustainable. but greed took over, and platforms started turning their backs on artists one by one, leaving us with the uncertainty of who to trust our most treasured pieces. there's still room to create a better place for art in web3. wondering if someone will build it — or if i'll have to vibecode it myself.

can't get the thought out of my mind that we need a new hic et nunc — something that feels as magical as that place once did. so hard to crack the code of what made it so pure.

I mean, aside from the platform itself, there was definitely the magic of that time, when everyone wanted to support each other, a lot more people had pure intentions, and so many of us were naive and believed things could finally change for everyone, before the grifters, scammers, and everyone who’s been extracting from this space. So no matter how good the platform might be, it’s hard to re-create that magic. But who knows, maybe something good will come along, and we’ll find our way back to those vibes 🤍
