The Degen app v1 is coming — a clean, lightweight Farcaster client focused on channels. Think Reddit-style convos. No messaging, no frames, no bloat. Just a solid base to build from.

You’ll get an embedded wallet and tipping from your own funds — no more tip allowances or farming mechanics. This isn’t a faucet. It’s a product for real discussion.

Think: less is more. A solid, simple foundation we can build from. The UI is clean, onboarding is smooth, and the feed feels great for real conversations. No gimmicks, no farming — just a focused space for Degens.

We’re not trying to poach users — we want to bring new people into Farcaster with our flavor. Some will love it, some won’t. That’s fine.

Trust you, your project and you know better how to make it more successful. 🎩 What date do we have left on the allowance? And when will it be possible to unlock locked degens? Will our followers and friends automatically integrate into the new app?

Thank God all the casts and friends will stay, and I won’t have to start from scratch! So one social network will replace the other, but with a more convenient and simple interface and a fundamentally different tipping system, where everyone sets how much they want and what their wallet allows? We’re likely targeting September for the Degen app launch — that’s when the allowance would end and you’ll be able to unlock your DEGENs. And yep, all your followers and casts will come with you into the new app.
