This isn't the main reason that people aren't onboarding onto Farcaster Warpcast has done a poor job of creating network effects where active users try to onboard their friends. I think many active users are discouraged to attempt to onboard their friends or social circle bc a) it costs $5 and b) there's not enough fun things for friends to do with each other like Words With Friends, Wordle, HQ Trivia etc. People already have too many messaging apps so I think Warpcast needs to offer messaging/social plus more fun activities in order for new users to onboard to yet another social platform or messaging app

An idea is to ask the people who are new to farcaster to see why they’re leaving. I venture a guess (any dune charts to confirm or deny?) that people who are newer have a greater chance of churning. The founder seems to have a confused response to solving this (don’t know if it’s on him. To do so) But you could: Invite and nurture a relationship with mom and pop shops, regular people, and (obviously) people who are interested in getting away from Twitter. You could also: Quit having these farcaster Fridays with people who live happily in the echo chamber, and invite regular folks (hard I am sure with the whole bot contingent) You could also, ask people about content. I’ve not seen an outright discussion on this poorly considered cast… from the man himself. Maybe instead: Invite people to a farhouse chat. Lead by someone maybe like @pichi (I think she has done this before). And not dwr using an ama to mute people (was that confirmed?) Also. Consider current events
