Why are you using Griv? [IDEALLY ALL GRIV USERS COMMENT] Be brutally honest - community vibes, enjoy product, accountability, leaderboard points, USDC rewards, potential future token, already on Farcaster, enjoy AI scoring of your photos, you like me as a builder, ANYTHING GOES.... BE BRUTALLY HONEST

I like logging my workouts (also use Strava) and selfies are a fun semi-flex semi-accountability way to do it. And supporting miniapps 🫡 And I think pay-to-do-x crypto apps will come back and can succeed with the right mechanics

As a builder you are active in getting our feedback and implementing it. So being a part of that feedback loop and helping shape an app is rewarding. I feel like it’s easily gamed for pointsmaxxing and that’s somewhat mitigated by the curation of users. So it feels like a high trust enclave of like minded people. But possibly with an expiration date. As more users join the vibe might change and drift down towards the greatest common denominator.

The guys from Farville shilled it. I’m still looking for something that motivates me doing sport more often. Love the AI future Trying to connect and expand my network on Farcaster Love the idea to get rewarded for doing something actually useful. All web3 projects which don’t are stupid get rich fast schemes are unfortunately dying (tree planting etc) so I’m trying to support meaningful projects

I like speculation, so the idea of a leaderboard and potential airdrop is cool But I think social fitness apps are the next big thing. Right now Strava is booming but it's ability is limited. Being able to directly interact with people about their activities just spreads knowledge and motivation so much faster

Accountability - would be good to get some metric of relative exertion. Obvs some people will be able to outperform others but I think normalised to previous exercise amounts/max hr compared to resting, amount of time in different zones. This would all be super cool but needs a data layer rather than just photos. Would also be cool if this was done in a way where ppl owned their data/accrued points on leaderboard. I also think it would reduce the ability to game the leaderboard too if time stamped exercise files required

Having a community that is genuinely interesting and interested in wellness is amazing. Plus the concept of the onchain side of things, whatever that might bring is a huge. It would be amazing to see more mini-apps like https://www.squadletics.com and apps that can integrate right into the ecosystem so people can choose their tools and Just Do It™. Also shameless plug for https://hitflow.xyz since I've been shipping a bunch of new features and squashing bugs.

I took a look but I don’t get it. I see people collecting points for a lot of non-healthy things.

I like the accountability aspect of griv. It’s been kind of helping me keep track of my goals as I continue down my weight loss journey. It’s also opened me to other people who are focused on improving and maintaining their health (which I didn’t think existed on farcaster!)
