P diddy raped multiple people and ran sex trafficking ring with underage boys Kanye West is a musician turned shock jock at best, racist at worst Joe Rogan has the worlds number one podcast and has done more for menβs (maybe womenβs) health than probably any man alive Elon must built the electric vehicle revolution and is offering internet to everyone in the world (among many other things) You canβt seriously think theyβre all the same

They are all characters in my mind and would be entertaining in this theoretical context. I don't think any of them are good people overall. I'm not sure how you can think Joe Rogan has helped people be healthy. You are giving Musk more credit for electric vehicles than I think he deserves.

What's so bad about Joe? I get that people might not like him by proxy of not liking the podcast guests (him giving them a platform) But is there something else?

Mainly his promotion of controversial or debunked ideas, use of offensive language, perceived irresponsibility with his platform, and the real-world impact his content can have on public discourse and health. In our current media environment his approach is reckless and dangerous.

It sounds like you think other people owe society something They donβt Repeat after me: βmy life is not a public goodβ Joe Rogan is just some guy that ppl like. He doesnβt owe anyone or have a responsibility of any kind with his platform. Heβs had 1000s of hours of conversations. Most are with scientists, athletes, and entertainers. Q: how many of his episodes have you watched in full? Q2: whatβs a non political topic youβre interested in? Iβd like to recommend a podcast for you to listen to. It might change your perception of him and fwiw his advice on health has been spot on. His record for health information is incredible. From eating well to cold plunges, from exercise routines to relationship advice heβs helped a lot
