When I was a little kid, I used to eat the silica packets that come in shoe boxes and other shit simply because it said “do not eat.” 

This is also why “just say no to drugs” never worked. You make some people want to do them even more when you say not to do them. 😂

Yeah it’s kind of like kitty litter. When it gets wet it absorbs all the water and swells. If you don’t give it enough water for it to become solute, it can block the esophagus or the intestines essentially

Ok I get it now, if not flush with enough water it can affect the digestive system

It’s not poison but you have to drink a lot of water afterwards or it can get stuck in your body because it’s super dehydrating, hence its role in keeping moisture off of various goods.
