Thanks for writing this. I've been curious to try Zed. I haven't since I've been relatively happy with VSCode and now Cursor. They can struggle a bit especially with large files so maybe Zed will handle them better.

Zed is a game changer, vs code feels really slow at this point. Definitely miss the rich extension support ecosystem tho.

I tried it yesterday. It feels super snappy. I like the multibuffer editing feature. I do miss the deep AI integration that Cursor has and the VSCode extensions. I've never been one to learn many keyboard shortcuts so I wouldn't take advantage of that.
