my son’s 8yo best friend basically seems to have unrestricted access to YouTube streamers and makes all those weird ass sexual sounds when he’s playing video games (without knowing what they are) and is driving us insane

when he’s here we tell him to knock it off but tbh we can’t really explain much more than it’s inappropriate

don’t want it to rub off on my boy so we continually hound him about it when he’s here, but short of not letting them hang out anymore we are at a loss, and tbh I don’t want to just end the friendship because it really is his best bro and generally their friendship is great, smh

Explain to em that them noises aren't "people" noises and that he's going to have to choose between not making those sounds and encouraging his friend to not do the same and losing the friendship altogether.
